Business Analyst (5+yrs) to support IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit process improvements

Our large oil and gas client is seeking a Business Analyst to support IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit process improvements.
 
Must-Have:

• 5+ years experience with IT/digital departments supporting projects or governance, risk, and compliance functions
• Experience supporting and improving IT/digital business processes
• Experience working with companies larger than 5000 employees:
  • on projects or with departments that have multiple processes and stakeholders
  • working with and managing multiple data and information sources

• Power BI

Role Overview: IT Business Analyst that can support ongoing improvements in the Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Audit domains. Experience working in IT and/or digital GRC functions would be helpful. This role will essentially support day-to-day GRC processes, and process improvements. You will support this large company's Digital Risk Line of Business to enable timely identification, assessment, management, and monitoring of Digital risks.

• Understand strategic governance, risk, and compliance needs and requirements to inform opportunities for improvement
• Document governance, risk, compliance, and audit processes and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate process improvement activities, and information gathering to inform decision making  
• Support monthly stewardship, reporting, and communication activities
• Maintain governance, risk, compliance, and audit records and information
• Coordinate governance, risk, compliance, and audit activities as required

Location: Only Calgary candidates will be considered at this time as client is in the office Tues/Wed/Thurs each week downtown
