Business Analyst
Location Address: 40 King Street W, 36th Floor – Hybrid – Mostly WFH
Contract Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Discussions with various treasury desks on how funding is currently sourced and how reporting is used
- Reviewing and assessing data and system processing enhancements will be required to implement the funding desk
- Working with asset and liability management reporting
- Attending meetings with stakeholders across treasury and treasury’s IT support functions
- Will be responsible for self-directed work as it is given to them
- Working with MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word etc.)
- Building and generating draft reporting of what may then be automated by IT in the future
- Working with large data sets/database applications such as SQL
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of financial industry experience with some exposure to treasury
- 5+ years of experience working with large data sets and/or database applications
- 3+ years of experience working with MS Office (Advanced knowledge)
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Prior asset liability management experience
- Prior knowledge working with database applications (Talend, Python, Tableau, PowerBI)
- The BA should have some Treasury and/or Treasury data background such as dealing with RDARR, IRRBB, or FTP. PMP preferred.
Degrees or certifications:
- PMP (Project Management), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager) preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
