Int. Core Network Specialist to ensure service and network availability – 2493-1
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for network infrastructure management, including monitoring, configuration, and maintenance
- Monitoring and resolving alerts and trouble tickets
- Enhance the reliability of the network through proactive performance, operational data analysis
- Interconnect core network configuration modification/change
- End to end service impact analysis before and after any modification/change
- End to end node performance analysis before and after any modification/change
- Troubleshoot logged faults and isolate the cause to minimize impacts
- Support the implementation of new equipment, ATP and UAT
- Conduct LAB tests to check viability of proposed engineering solutions
- Responsible for schedule and on demand ON call support
- Responsible for schedule and on demand MW change support
- Maintenance activity log in secure and attached with the CTASK.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant technical hands-on working experience on 3G/4G/5G
- Profound knowledge of Diameter (S6b, SWm, SWx, SWa, STa), IP, SS7 Protocols.
- Good understanding of 3G, 4G, LTE, VoWIFI, VoLTE, IMS network nodes and call flow
- Good understanding of E911 call flow
- Experience on Nokia HLR/HSS
- Experience Tekelec STP/LSMS/ELAP
- Understanding of IP networks and TCP/IP technologies
- Ability to provide in-depth analysis of network traffic, and path for redundancy
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Network troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
