Int. EPC Core Specialist for end-to-end service integration and implementation projects – 2492-1

Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)


Required skills:

Minimum 4 years of technical experience across Wireless Networks and Cloud
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on cloud computing experience.
Operational team is accountable for all operation and maintenance activities in the network.
-Work in Maintenance Window implement changes in the network.
-Take ownership in all standard DevOps deliverables (deployment, integration, testing, troubleshooting) for wireless data core platforms, including but not limited to the following:
Evolved Packet Core (EPC):
MME, PGW, SGW, ePDG, AAA, DRA, PCRF
5G Standalone Core (5GC): AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF
Openstack/Container platform
-Hands on experience on Docker,Kubernetes (K8s) and Openstack, including in-depth understanding of container and VM lifecycles, connectivity, storage
-Good understanding of end to end 5G/LTE/VoLTE/Vowifi call flows

Responsibilities Include:

-Troubleshoot different network issues with the help of KPI's and traces
-Manage Vendor relationships to complete their deliverables of the solution. (eg.scope of work documents, solution requirements, design specifications, acceptance test plans, MOPs, and roadmap of platform evolution).
-Co-ordinate and work closely with peer departments (eg. Project Management, Network Planning, Product Development, IT, Engineering, etc…) for end-to-end service integration and implementation.
-Monitor the network using different Monitoring tools like Kalix,Grafana,ELK etc
-Provide Operational input for technical solutions related to the deployment of new services and technology.
-Perform lab implementation, and validation to simulate changes in a controlled environment prior to production rollout.
-Conduct analysis to understand the impact on network due to new services and technologies rolled out on network.
