Our client has a vision to provide citizen access to personal health information, with an initial focus on providing secure access to immunization records. This vision is being enabled through building a digital identity platform.
 
As the A2i Privacy Analyst, the candidate will lead the privacy-related work activities. This includes:
  • Conducting and/or revising Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
  • Liaising with the Director, Privacy and Access
  • Identifying risks and recommending strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Facilitating PIA review sessions
  • Providing privacy guidance and advice to the project team
  • Planning and facilitating consultations with stakeholders to understand processes and make privacy recommendations
  • Developing privacy documentation including PIA, sample consents, pledge of confidentiality, privacy content for presentation, etc.
The candidate will work closely with the A2i team, escalating privacy related issues and risks that could impact the project success. They will keep the A2i project manager advised of privacy-related status and progress, and will work with the project manager to resolve these issues in a timely manner.

Must haves:
  • 5 years direct experience in a privacy analyst role
  • Experience producing privacy related research and analysis
  • Experience in digital health sector
 
Nice to have
  • Project experience in citizen facing applications, interfaces and access to digital health records, or Canada Health Infoway projects is an asset
  • Previous public sector experience
