Interaction Designer to improve system on mobile applications – 17007
Location: Toronto (REMOTE)
Duration: 1yr (possible extension)

Must have skills:
1. 5+ years in Design and Design Systems
2. Background in Visual Design
3. Experience in an Agile environment, particularly lean development
Nice to have skills:
1. Experience in mobile or native app
2. Experience in UI/UX
3. Familiar with accessibility standards
Project details: This person will be collaborating with Product Owners and Developers and working on E2E design. They will be working to improve the Design Systems for an application. They will also work closely with the Brand Experience team to improve the app.
Team size and environment: Squad of 6-7
Additional Details:
You have excellent interaction and visual design skills, with an eye for detail around typography, visual hierarchy, layout, and brand systems
5+ years of experience in product design including building and evolving an effective design system for native/mobile applications. Web is a plus!
Expert knowledge of industry best practices and use of tools
You have a deep understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
You’re comfortable using Figma, Google Suite, Miro or any other whiteboarding tools
Exceptional understanding of mobile devices, native gestures and best practice - what works best for mobile (or doesn’t work) and why.
