Our client is looking for an Intermediate GeoSpatial Analyst to plan, manage and sustain the technology and related processes for the enterprise geospatial platform. RQ00071
Must have:
Must have:
- Minimum two-year diploma in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Engineering Technology, or equivalent
- Geographic Information System Professional (GISP) may be considered if in conjunction with Esri certification
- Esri Technical Certification(s) would be a significant asset
- Minimum amount of practical work experience and the specific type of related work experience (internal and/or external to the organization).
- 10 years working with GIS software (preferably Esri) and spatial data in general.
- Worked in large organizations with large GIS solutions: e.g., Forestry Companies, Consulting firms who cater to Forest Companies,
- Provincial Government IT/GIS shops, Oil and Gas, Large Utilities (ENMAX, EPCOR), Municipal Government where city population > 500,000
- Demonstrated expertise and certification with GIS and database technology and theory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and build effective communications with varied business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated progressive responsibility managing an operational support team and multi-server, multi-environment GIS platform.
- FME knowledge.
