Intermediate Scrum Master with Salesforce experience to lead the Agile Prod dev Scrum Pods for a Enterprise CRM platform at a Major Banking Client - 56223-1

Duration: 1 year (Extension or conversion to FTE expected)
Work location: DT Toronto (hybrid model)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. A little flexibility with work hours. 40 hours/week.
 
Project:
Scrum Master is required to lead the Agile Prod dev Scrum Pods that will be working on delivery of new features to Enterprise CRM platform starting July 2022.
 
Team has the most exciting work happening not done in most financial institutions. Biggest implementation of salesforce (onboarded 5000 financial advisors, in process of rolling out next gen Salesforce Scheduler to entire the banks employees + clients in F22, another 3.5K Financial Services representative roles to be onboarded in F22) making it the biggest in the Canadian space. As well, the team and work culture are a great environment to work in.
  
Daily Job Summary:
The Main function of scrum master is championing the Scrum process and ensuring Agile development teams follow the values, principles, and practices of Agile/Scrum delivery.
 
Responsibilities:

• Educate, coach, and mentor development teams on Agile/Scrum best practices
• Support and educate the Product Owner
• Work closely with the Enterprise Agile Coach to ensure ADF and Scrum best practices alignment
• Advise Scrum Masters on facilitating key Agile/Scrum activities: The Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Retrospective Meetings, Backlog Refinement, facilitate key Agile/Scrum rituals including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews and Retrospective Meetings
• Facilitate scrum process for projects involving 4 – 7 departments.
• Promote Agile/Scrum values and support teams transformation to Agile/Scrum work practices
• Hold team accountable for the achievement of release objectives and commitments to stakeholders
• Analyze current processes assist Development Teams/Scrum Masters with the identification and implementation of improvements that optimize productivity and maximize business value
• Provide advice and feedback on how to execute Agile/Scrum methods
• Improving transparency across the organization and assisting with communication
• Ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget by identifying and removing impediments for the team
• Encourage organizational learning and transparency by communicating team objectives and progress cross functionally
• Create a positive work environment and be an effective role model by championing the banks mission, vision and values

Must Haves:

• 5+ years previous relevant of Scrum Master experience
• Experience with Salesforce
• Strong problem resolution and analytical skills – must have solution-oriented mindset
• Expert level of understanding of Agile/Scrum processes, roles, and practices
• Extensive experience applying the Agile values and principles in a direct capacity as a team member
• Ability to think quickly and clearly

Nice to have:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification, KMP
• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Knowledge of Build Automation and Deployment Automation tools and techniques strongly recommended
• Experience working in larger scale programs – prior work experience in Financial institutions (Esp. large banks) will be a plus
• Previous experience using Agile
• Previous experience with Azure

Interview Process: 2 rounds – First round with the PMO team members (PM + Scrum Masters), Second round with PMO Director
