Location Address: Hybrid – Scarborough
Contract Duration: 10 months (Possibility of Extension)
Scheduled Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week


Project: The IAM Governance team is looking for a resource with previous SailPoint expertise to help move the organization’s IAM access governance strategy forward. The main function of an IT Security Analyst is to plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information. A typical IT Security Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.

Typical Day in Role
  • Review roles strategy including:
    •  How roles should be setup
    • Define role bundles
    • Review and update IT role descriptions
    • Clean up of 1-1, role to entitlement mapping
    • Define SOD for new CIAs, address current SOD and remediation
  • Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
  • Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
  • Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
  • Participate in security compliance efforts
  • Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
  • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ Years of Experience as a Security Analyst working with IAM
  • Solid understanding of SailPoint
  • Solid understanding of RBAC (Role Based Access Control)
  • Advanced analytical skills, specifically data analysis
  • Information Security background including an understanding of the basic security best practices, standards and methodologies
Nice to Have Skills
  • Technical designation is considered an asset (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
  • Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
