Intermediate SQL Developer to support an enterprise governance and data quality team

Our oil and gas client is seeking an Intermediate SQL Developer to support an enterprise governance and data quality team starting ASAP for 6 months. 

Must-Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a SQL Developer
• Experience working on Data Quality projects

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Familiarity with the agile framework

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and SMEs to understand requirements and implement/replicate them into code
• Keep an Agile approach on the feedback loop to update the coding pipeline as required
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Employ effective validation / QA techniques

Location: Ideally in Calgary with ability to come into the office Tues/Wed/Thurs.
