Job Description:
- Provide ongoing support of Java & Mobile based applications in Production and test environments including responding to Service requests, Incident & Problem analysis, Service restoration and recovery, Security vulnerability remediation, Audits and reporting as necessary
- Interface with other Software Engineers, Infrastructure teams, Lead Software Engineers, Business Systems Analysts and other stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions and maintain a stable, high performing application environment
- Lead and participate in design, develop, test and debug programs for Java REST web service APIs and microservices. Deployment is done using Kubernetes containers
- Create, develop, and maintain native mobile apps on iOS and Android for clients, including continuous integration and automation
- Use and enhance DEVOps capabilities using Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Gradle, Maven, Continuous Delivery Director, and Ansible
- 5+ years of information technology experience as an IOS developer
- 3+ year of Java (Spring) application support / development
- Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies such as Servlet, JDBC and JSP
- Building applications that consume RESTful APIs to connect to mobile applications to back-end services
- Experience working with Android mobile application development / support
- Financial services such as Insurance or Banking is preferred.
