Our Calgary client is seeking a IT Operations/ Business Systems Manager to maintain and update systems, technologies and procedures. This is a full-time, permanent position with compeitive benefits offered.

- Leadership or Mentorship experience
- 5+ years' IT Support experience
- Telephony/ VoIP experience (ideally with Avaya)
- Experience supporting networks and infrastructure (Servers, Printers, Desktops, etc.)
- Stakeholder management experience (internal and external/vendors)
- Understanding of Business Intelligence systems such as Power BI dashboards, ETL and database management
Responsibilities Overview:
- Ensure daily Business System support and service levels, and operations of technology infrastructure including server, network, and other IT infrastructure in coordination with IT infrastructure management company
- Continuous improvement of current phone interface to empower work from home efficiency and reporting for front line staff and customer interaction
- Work across multiple lines of business to support of evolving company operations and needs regarding software and systems technology solutions to business challenges
- Locate and create action plans for recurring issues and identify patterns of failure in technology indicated through implementation of a service ticket reporting system
- Developing operational plans, identifying priorities, scope of activities, resource availability and current initiatives to maximize resource utilization and results.
- Create plans for dealing with emergencies, outages, and service transitions, including communications plans to ensure employees working remotely and in Calgary are kept informed as needed.
- Responsible for supervising all IT employees including hiring, performance management, mentoring and advising, compensation, and so on.
- Strong understanding of full MS Office program and technologies to increase utilization and efficiency including strong training, Processes and procedures and documentation for front line staff implementation
- Assist with hands-on support, set up, inventory of equipment, implementation projects, etc.
- Review programs to fit with current programs and software interactions through API or other data transferring protocols
- Provide additional support and knowledge for existing systems required for successful operation
