  • Administrative Assistant - Junior The Administrative Assistant role is responsible for a variety of challenging tasks to support the team. This role requires individuals to work in both independently as well as in close partnership with all team members while maintaining a positive, flexible attitude, and willingness to shift priorities quickly to support a high volume workload and changing deadlines. In conjunction with this accountability, this role also provides support and assistance necessary to produce customer ready material on existing case and new business proposals. Teamwork and flexibility are strong drivers in the success of this position.

Role summary: The claims Administrator is responsible for multiple administrative tasks on the claims team.


Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle written and telephone inquiries of a sensitive nature
• Client service experience or in a claims environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to provide quality service
• Ability to balance high work volumes and telephone inquiries
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Solid PC skills with knowledge of Word and Excel

Must haves:
  • 1+ year of adminstration experience 
  •  Bilingualism (French and English)
Nice to haves:
  • Education involving knowledge of Medical terminology
