Our valued client is seeking an Jr. Marketing Research Analyst for an initial 1 year contract in Ottawa.

Seeking a Marketing Research Analyst service provider with quantitative and qualitative skills  to support the organization’s research and customer experience programs.  The service provider will support deliverables with the goal of further understanding our target market, audiences, customers, customer satisfaction and brand perception.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and perform quality assurance on research instruments (surveys & interview guides)
  • Prepare sample lists and upload them into customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Create and test survey distributions in customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Program surveys in customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Test programmed surveys in customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Code Open end responses: hundreds of verbatim, open-ended comments (non-structured data) from survey responses, code them into themes using Qualtrics and help generate insights
  • Load customer survey results manually into CRM
  • Create dashboards in customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).
  • Conduct some analysis in SPSS
  • Put together small reports from SPSS analysis into PowerPoint
  • Review and perform quality assurance on reports
  • Participate in meetings

Must have skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing research.
  • Online survey programming skills using a research platform like Qualtrics or Survey Monkey
  • Experience in analyzing quantitative data by coding open ends into themes, conducting frequencies and crosstabs.  
  • Ability to prepare & review insights summaries, reports or presentations

Nice to have skills:
  • Software such as Microsoft office, Excel, and SPSS, research platforms
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with other researchers and marketing members
  • Familiarity with customer research platform such Qualtrics Experience Measurement Platform
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • College certificate or degree in marketing research and intelligence
