Reporting Analyst
Work location: 81 Bay 28th Floor
· WFH? Hybrid work environment  1 to 2 days/week in office (Wed./Thu.)
Duration: 6 months
 
Responsibilites:

· Produce regular performance and analytical reports for various groups, prepare commentary of observations and analyses to explain month over month and quarter over quarter fluctuations, and produce weekly attestation packages
· Confirm and reconcile report results against information sources, to ensure proper control, reconciliation of systems, and accuracy
·  Utilize technical tools such as Cognos, Essbase, Tableau, Alteryx, and Oracle to resolve business issues and produce reports with the use of pre-coded Microsoft
· Access queries, perform regular entries on the internal spreadsheets and/or database systems and provide analytical support to various internal user-groups
· Assist with the development of new reports, business projects/initiatives, control policies, and testing of new changes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory bodies
· Assisting in the development and implementation of validation and attestation processes and procedures to support adequacy of source data and metrics
· Conduct in-depth analyses of the outputs of operational risk management and reporting procedures to assess their effectiveness and identify potential weakness

Must Haves:
· Strong knowledge of Excel and Access
· Knowledge of Essbase/SmartView, and queries of information cube by the use of VBA

Nice to have:
· Some related business experience (Preferably finance, data analyzing, or strategic analysis)
· Smartview experience
· Tableau experience
· Some SAS experience
· Alteryx experience
· Understanding of computer languages - (concepts, algorithms, understanding of how programing works)
