Our energy sector client is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to enhance and maintain .Net and SaaS applications

As part of the Business Solution Systems group, this position is responsible for supporting the business clients and numerous information systems that enable business productivity.  These systems are a mixture of off the shelf, internally developed and cloud-based systems.  The role covers all aspects of level 2/3 support, with a focus on understanding the business domain, business needs, analysis, troubleshooting, implementation, and support.  It also includes maintenance tasks related to the overall applications environment, such as web services, application services, database and data migrations and upgrades.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years experience as an Application Support Analyst
• Background in Windows based systems, servers and environments
• Experience supporting numerous IT applications including COTS and custom developed solutions
• Experience with relational databases and MS SQL Server for the purposes of data analysis, data migration, interface support, etc.
• Experience in Web server and web application support (IIS, ASP.NET), .NET Programming (Visual Studio and C#).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills – addressing issues, managing workload, working with vendors, documentation, etc.
