Our valued Public Sector client is in need of a Senior Business Architect to provide strategic governance support for an enterprise level move from on-prem to cloud hybrid (Azure) in order to support mission critical data analytics solutions.

Background:

Our valued Public Sector clients are responsible for the data analytics solutions of their organization and partners providing mission critical support for national level initiatives. Over the last couple of years our clients have been working on the planning and preparations for their move from an on-prem to a hybrid cloud model (Azure) which will modernize their legacy tech stack while providing interoperability for the organization. To support this initiative, our clients are currently working on assembly a team of experts which include a Senior Business Architect who will be focused on assessing the organization in relation to their goals to develop and fine tune governance-based policies and planned versus actual capabilities.
 
Tasks may include:
  • Develop policies and rules that allow an organization to carry out its mandate and functional responsibilities, and that govern the organization's actual and planned capabilities in terms of computers, data, information, human resources, communication facilities, and software and management responsibilities.
  • Develop the specifications for where, how and why the various organizational components fit together as they do, and how they support the organization's mandate.
  • Conduct an assessment of the organizations current project's business architecture, process and performances.
  • Advise Senior Management on trends and emerging technologies and their impact on the organization's architectures and business strategies.
  • Analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
  • Identify candidate processes for re-design; prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action. Identify the modifications to the automated processes.
  • Provide expert advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions identify and provide preliminary costs of potential options.
  • Prepare detailed statements of requirements on data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Provide expert advice on and/or assist in implementing new processes and organizational changes.
