Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior Communications consultant to implement internal and external strategic communication plans, and website content for a sustainment business transformation project.
 
Project Description:
This project will support the Optimized Weapon System Management (OWSM) and In-Service Support Contractor Framework (ISSCF) to implement a structured sustainment strategy that was selected. This Initiative focuses on transforming the way sustainment options (enterprise and procurement) are analyzed and governed within the department, and representing a significant business transformation.
 
 
The Contractor will perform tasks in support of the Sustainment Initiative from a change management and communications perspective overall. These tasks include the following services:

• Develop, manage and execute communications initiatives and projects as requested, working in close collaboration with senior management;
• Regularly interface with senior management;
• Provide advice on issue management, change management and communications;
• Develop communication products;
• Provide the technical authority with advice and guidance on:
  • achieving the communication goals of the Sustainment Initiative externally and internally to the department;
  • the use of communications to strategically position the Sustainment Initiative; and
  • developing the communication products required to support the achievement of these communications goals.
• Advise the technical authority on key messaging related to next steps of the Sustainment Initiative;
• Provide input into and develop briefing materials for senior management;
• Facilitate briefing sessions as required;
• Provide input to and guidance on related key messaging and communications materials;
• Assist in the set-up of and implementation of identified communication channels;
• Analyze, research, develop and implement strategic communications plans;
• Develop and maintain communications products, such as web sites, slides, decks, articles;
• Develop written communication materials for senior management consumption as required; and
• Develop and implement processes to measure the effectiveness of communications efforts.

 
Must Haves:

• Education
• Secret Clearance
• 10+ years as a Communications Consultant
• 2+ years in the design and the development of website content.
