Our Large Energy client is looking for a Senior Contracts Advisor to provide life cycle management of Major Project Contracts from creation, maintenance and close-out

Must Haves:
- 7+ years in a Senior Contracts Advisor role with experience in the life cycle management of contracts from creation, maintenance and close-out, preferably with experience in Oil & Gas projects
- Ability to develop project or scope specific Contracting Strategies and Contract Execution Plans in support of Gate reviews and Project execution.
- Provide oversight of Engineering & Procurement (E&P) Contractors in managing Project Contracting activities
- Execute Pre-Award activities for main project services, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Develop RFI and evaluation criteria in support of scope specific bidders’ prequalification
- Coordinate the evaluation of RF bidders prequalification and shortlisting and the development of Bid Evaluation Criteria and Plan
- Develop the appropriate commercial compensation structure for the Scope of Work (SOW) and conform the Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Issue the RFP and Manage the Bid process
- Develop and Prepare negotiation plans and Conduct negotiations
- Issue Awards, onboard contractors and coordinate Kick-off meetings
- Execute Post Award Contracts Management and support the management of Contractors Relationships, which includes:
- Compile data to assist in periodic reviews of Contractors' performance
- Manage and Report on approved contract values and spend against Approved Contract Value to ensure governance.
- Work with Contractors to resolve day-to-day issues and expedite resolution
- Contracts Close-out and contractors off-boarding, and coordinate Contractors’ performance feedback per the Supplier Lifecycle Management requirements.
- Undergrad degree in an Engineering, Technical or Business discipline (post-secondary education)
- Master’s degree (Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration)
