Our valued Public Sector client is in need of a Senior Data Consultant to collaborate with the enterprise business and program areas to identify data requirements for an enterprise level move from on-prem to cloud (Azure).

Background:

Our valued Public Sector clients are responsible for the data analytics solutions of their organization and partners providing mission critical support for national level initiatives. Over the last couple of years our clients have been working on the planning and preparations for their move from an on-prem to a hybrid cloud model (Azure) which will modernize their legacy tech stack while providing interoperability for the organization. To support this initiative, our clients are currently working on assembly a team of experts which include a Senior Data Consultant to collaborate with the enterprise business and program areas to identify essential data requirements for their cloud initiative.
 
Tasks may include:
  • Consult and collaborate with the business and program areas to define/develop and document statements of data
  • requirements.
  • Develop, build and maintain queries and/or write programs/scripts to extract and compile data from SQL and NoSQL repositories to merge and analyze data from various sources in order to conduct an analysis.
  • Develop, build and maintain queries and/or write programs/scripts to extract and compile data in a hybrid cloud computing environment.
  • Perform data quality analysis and testing by matching or comparing data to appropriate data sources, validating accuracy, identifying, analyzing and investigating root causes to data issues or problems.
  • Interpret, analyze data results using statistical techniques and develop data visualization presentations to present findings.
  • Analyze and mine data to identify patterns, trends, anomalies and correlations among the various data points.
  • Define and document metadata for business values; defining, developing and documenting business rules and definitions of data attributes/elements, including and not limited to the development and updating of data dictionary.
