S.i. System's mining client is looking a Senior Data Engineer to work on unstructured & big data sets to lead & support the data development team. Reporting to the Manager of Software Development, the Lead Data Developer will be a people leader and technical contributor.
MUST HAVES:
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer, including considerable experience with very large data sets of unstructured data and understanding of big data tech stacks
- Deep experience in Python including unit testing, plus exposure to other scripting and object-oriented programming languages
- Proven experience in one of the major cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Airflow / PySpark / DataBricks / Data Factory
