Senior Oracle Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and design for a CBSA related project

Project Responsibilities:
  • Experience in leading the architecture design for related areas of business unit infrastructure, integration, data, and security to ensure compliance and consistency with the IT strategies, drawing in the other architects as required. Knowledgeable in implementing integration standards (API, SOA etc.) and offers guidance for developing, updating and maintaining application development and support standards (including security), procedures and methodologies for all platforms, and coordinating all quality assurance activities related to the development and delivery of all new applications, enhancements, and service, along with maintenance consideration for both custom-built and externally managed service offerings (ie: SaaS).Ensures services and applications implemented comply with overall IT standards and policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in designing the optimal solution architecture for a project by applying extensive technical aptitude, knowledge, and experience across security, application, information, technology, and processes.
  • Experience in designing logical data models for application and integration layers of the specific line of business.
  • Experience in authoring and presenting application architecture documents, briefing notes/position papers (i.e. impact assessments, draft recommendations, proposed strategies), reports, diagrams and delivers presentation on detailed proposals, emerging or overlapping issues. Ensures solution architecture design work is documented in a structured fashion aligning with the enterprise architecture framework.
Required Experience: 
  • Trends in Enterprise and Application architectures.
  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft modules and capabilities for on-premise and cloud based HCM solution.
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS 12.2.5) modules.
  • Knowledge of Oracle cloud offerings and high level roadmap from EBS to Oracle cloud.
  • Application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems
  • Application architecture concepts including Web services, end tier architecture, SOA
  • architecture and multiple development platforms (e.g. MS.net; Java; Oracle tool sets)
  • SDLC methodologies
  • Project and Change Management Principles
  • TOGAF concepts and methodologies
  • ITIL best practices
