Our clients are Seeking a Senior PHP (Drupal) Architect to conduct architectural reviews and provide design recommendations for a Public Sector web-based procurement platform

Background:

Our valued client has played a key role in the modernization of the Canadian federal government’s procurement platform over the last few years. Our clients are current wrapping up the final development milestone of this Drupal based web platform before it’s fully released at which point, they will be moving into the operational phase of this platform supporting it an all aspects for years to come. Our clients are currently working on building up the operational team to support this platform long term which includes their development and testing team as such our clients would like to bring on a Senior PHP (Drupal) Architect who can support the web-based platform long-term conducting architectural reviews and providing design recommendations as the platform continues to evolve over the years.

Tasks may include:
  • Apply knowledge &experience of working with Drupal APIs, libraries and components. The one’s currently being used: Entity API, Translations, Facet API, Solr Search API, and Date API;
  • As the team will be ramping up mentor and guide junior resources
  • Apply knowledge and experience building WCAG 2.0 AA compliant websites
  • Working in high availability environment and troubleshooting issues to identification of solution
  • Develop and support web content management tools and its workflows as well as design integration of Solr and Drupal, extensive development of Search API’s
  • Coordinate with team on the development lifecycle work breakdown and resolving any issues that arise
