Our valued client is seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to assist in the navigation of Open Contract Data Standards for a Public Sector procurement platform

Background:

Our valued client is responsible for the development and functionality of the government of Canada’s new procurement portal. Our clients are currently wrapping up the final development milestone before the portal is fully released. In order to support the release and long-term operational requirements, our clients are looking to bring on a Senior Procurement Advisor who can guide their team through Open Contract Data Standards and other procurement related regulations to support the compliancy of the Public Sector Portal.
 
Tasks may include:

• Gather and establish requirements and standards in which the team needs to take into consideration
• Ensure the portal is following contract data publishing standards that are aligned to GC Open and Govt Center of Excellence (COE) guidelines
• Guide the development team as they look to design and develop Open Contract Data (OCD) data sets with inputs from various sources
• Guide the development team as they look to make Open Contract Data (OCD) datasets available through APIs in multiple formats
• Provide advice on publishing Open Contract Data (OCD) API on the GC Platform
• Conduct reviews of Open Contract Data before it’s published to the platform to ensure it meets current government standards
