Senior Strategy Manager responsible for the refresh of portfolio governance

Duration: 6 months to start, high possibility of ext 
Location: Hybrid (Toronto OR Kitchener)

Our insurance client is looking for a Senior Manager who will be responsibile for taking a lead role in continuous improvement of our Enterprise Portfolio Governance.

Responsibilities:

• Refresh portfolio governance based on composition of approved portfolio. 
• Engaging with the appropriate stakeholders to establish and operationalize the changes using effective change management and communication/documentation where needed.
• Manage the process to gather, assess and report on Enterprise Portfolio performance, including financials, scope, timing, dependencies and risks. Introduce quarterly reporting to leadership at Executive/VP levels.
• Maintain multiyear strategic plans with current views of estimates, priorities, assumptions and dependences to support decisions related to funding allocation opportunities as they arise throughout the year and to provide input to 2023 prioritization.
• Lead creation of prioritization/scenario planning tools working with our Business Intelligence group and other key stakeholders, develop and implement a tool to support ongoing prioritization. 

Must Haves:

• Portfolio management and strategic governance experience. 
• Past experience working with C-level executives and steering committees.
• Agile methodology
