Senior Technical Writer to ensure documents/artifacts are in place for the selection of a new SaaS platform

Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to ensure documents/artifacts are in place for the selection of a new SaaS platform. 

A renewal project was launched and several pre-planning activities have since taken place in order to yield the baseline requirements, workflows and personas. A cloud-based SaaS platform, yet to be selected, has been designated as the way forward and the project’s integrated team are currently compiling artifacts, and it has now been gated at the first level.

Tasks Include: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders for writing of Gate 2 documents and RFP documents;
• Provide support with project gating artefacts, including project Initiation documentation, plans, opportunity submission forms, IT concept cases, project charters, benefits realization documentation, etc.
• Assist in the preparation/editing of communication materials on behalf of the project for a range of
  audiences both internal and to partners external to the organization.
• Ensure that all Gate 2 documents (project charter, project scope statement, project management plan, business case, etc.) are written and edited with the required content in collaboration with the business and technical team;
• Ensure that various documents for the Request for Proposal (RFP), for example the statement of work (SOW), and other preliminary documents are written and edited to be included in the RFP and take the lead in writing the RFP; 
• Edit documentation for Gate 2 committee presentations (for example MITC and IMB to request approval to proceed with project approval (PA) and expenditure authority (EA);

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Writer

Nice to Have: 

• Experience working at large organizations (1,000+ employees)
