Our valued public client is in need of a Senior Secret cleared UX Designer with BA experience to assist with the development of a user portal within an agile environment. The UI portal will allow internal users access data analytics and will be integrated into an Azure / Power BI platform.

Duties and tasks may include but are not be limited to the following:
  • Gather user requirements and produce/update user story documentation and design specifications;
  • Work with product owners to create product backlogs; 
  • Using qualitative and quantitative data, create user stories, profiles, personas, empathy maps, service blueprints and journey maps to support user-centric development of digital solutions;
  • Architect application navigation and content flow and produce sitemaps and workflow diagrams;
  • Create prototypes and other UX deliverables at a high level of quality and in compliance with branding and style guidelines;
  • Plan and conduct user research;
  • Create usability testing plans and conduct usability testing sessions with clients and users;
  • Lead projects of limited scope or components of larger projects;
  • Produce and/or update UX documentation for new applications or for updates (enhancements and bug fixes) of existing applications;

Experience required:
 
  • A minimum of five (5) years professional work experience producing designs that meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and/or equivalent accessibility standards.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years professional work experience designing user interfaces for digital solutions.
  • A minimum of five (5) years professional work experience planning and conducting user research (e.g. User interviews, usability testing, user observation, card sorting, surveys, ethnography).
  • A minimum of three (3) projects within the last eight (8) years conducting heuristic evaluations or usability reviews and providing recommendations for improving a website or application or business process.
