Snr. (10+ Years) Business Analyst to conduct a fit-gap analysis to determine the business and technical requirements for the advancement a departmental reference data platform.

S.i. Systems valued public sector client is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to conduct a fit-gap analysis to determine the business and technical requirements for the advancement of their departmental reference data platform. This platform provides usability enhancements, supports the implementation of new standards for data auditing and data stewardship through the development and implementation of new technical and business processes, provides a means for enabling public access to selected data, and supports the renewal of current reference data housed in the database and the integration of new reference data items. This is a won contract - looking to start ASAP and will run for 3 months + possible extensions. 

The Successful Candidate Must Have:

• Minimum 5 years experience with reference data systems/databases that support technical solutions for data management 
• Experience on at least 2 projects with the Government of Canada where you were assisting with the implementation of data management policies, frameworks, and technical solutions  
• Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance 

Preference will be Given to Candidates who also Possess:

• Experience designing and implementing a systems improvement plan
• Experience conducting environmental scans for technical development initiatives
