Typical Day in the Role:
  • This Business Analyst that will lead a project team for two phases, firstly to identify a Supply Chain Finance solution through an established procurement process. We are seeking a candidate that can compile business requirements that will be required to help identify a solution. Phase two of the initiative will consist of business case planning and approval to implement the identified solution. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders including business partners in Supply Chain Finance product, operations, and technology. The candidate has a thorough understanding of collecting business requirements and can drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. We are seeking a high performing individual that will lead the initiative from design to implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Obtain requirements from product, operations and technology teams and consolidate in a business requirements document
  • Conduct analysis, document business processes, and identify inefficiencies
  • Assist the Supply Chain Finance product team to develop strategies and recommendations, including business benefits and costs, implementation and training strategies/plan during a strategic procurement process
  • Assemble an integrated project plan to ensure successful delivery on time and on budget, achieving the project’s objectives
  • You will own the integrated project plan, status/dashboard reporting, issue and risk management for the integrated project (identify, document, support/develop resolutions, and mitigations), and appropriately communicate to Senior Management
  • Design and prepare deliverables and impactful presentations to communicate findings, solutions, and results to senior executives leveraging enterprise templates
  • Ability to independently run executive Steerco meetings with SVPs, VPs and Directors
Must Have Skills:
  1. 5+ years as a Business Analyst with recent lead expereince.
  2. Highly knowledgeable with business case and procurement processes (i.e. RFI, RFP)
  3. Recent financial / Fintech expereince. 
  4. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g., CA PPM, MS Projects, Visio, Agile/Scrum)
  5. Expereince working within an agile environment.  
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Supply Chain Finance knowledge an advantage
Education: Post-secondary degree in business, information technology or related discipline
