Sr. Business Analyst responsible for SOX controls for an IFRS17 implementation for a large banking client - 40082

Location: Toronto (hybrid)

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting and testing SOX controls related to the implementation of IFRS17.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Conversion to the accounting standard regarding life insurance
• Ensure all SOX controls are updated to reflect the new standard
• SOX compliance and controls are critical – documentation and testing

 
Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of SOX control design and testing
• Documentation/design of controls (not just testing)
• Thorough understanding of business and IT controls
• Ability to develop controls

Nice to have skills:

• Ability to lead workshops, facilitate discussions
• IT certification (CISA)
• Certified internal auditor certification

 
Disqualifiers:
- Candidate with only IT SOX control experience
