Business group: GWRT - Global Capital Markets Technology.

GRWT is part of Global Equity Derivates Group under Capital Markets, dealing with all systems, applications, and workflows to support the equity trading desk; specifically with global equity derivates (option desk), with the stock trading desk (cash desk), and exchange traded fund desk, related to stock trading.

Project: This project focuses on the Zeus application as the modernization/replacement of the legacy Middle Office application, Trade Management (TM). The Middle Office application has to with post-trade processing. HM’s group specifically deals with the Middle Office workflow. The project is mid-way through its phases.

Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will be joining a high performing team that adapts to new technology and integrates for Front, Middle and Back Office applications.

Typical Day in Role:
- Testing and deployment of new applications - engaged with the development team on a day-to-day basis (3-4 hours daily), to flesh out requirements and understand defects etc.
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment - Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
- Minor production support on both applications (TM and Zeus)
- Work with business sponsors, business partners in Middle Office, and engaging with some of the Front Office team members on the project team side

Must Have Skills:
1) 10 + years’ Business Analyst experience within the financial industry.
- Capital markets (equities) is highly preferred, as this experience will play a key role in performance and ability to assimilate to the role.
2) 5 + years’ Recent project experience supporting Front and Middle Office applications in Capital Markets – ideally within the Equity space
3) 5 + years’ recent project experience creating SQL Queries
4) 5 + years’ experience with Agile projects

Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Candidate needs to have strong knowledge of the Equity life cycle and how trades and settlements are completed
- Recent experience with the Fidessa product will be highly prioritized – banks including RBC, BMO and TD are currently using this application and will be highly transferrable for this assignment
- Understanding of FIX protocol
- Scrum Training / Certifications is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

- 2 Rounds: 2 Microsoft teams 1 hour Interview

Additional Notes
- Fidessa experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized
They will also have a strong understanding of workflow processes and how it impacts the larger structure with the bank.
