Our client is looking for a Sr. Technical Specialist to join their Messaging Team.

Key Job Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to perform detailed Root Cause Analysis of problems;
  • Ability to work well with management, technical teams, and vendors;
  • Ability to clearly document and explain symptoms and solutions to complex problems;
  • High Level functional knowledge of Server, Workstation, Network and
  • Application technologies and infrastructures;
  • Ability to plan, manage time according to schedules, and provide status updates required;
  • Ability to work to quickly learn new applications and resolve issues;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment; 
 
Deliverables:
  • Provide Tier 3 operational support for Exchange;
  • Provide support for migration for Exchange accounts from on-premises to cloud;
  • Provide support for migration from Cisco Email Gateway to Exchange Online
  • Protection; and
  • Provide operational support for Teams.
 
Position Specific Skills or Qualifications required:
  • Exchange 2016 on premise;
  • Exchange Hybrid connector to M365 Exchange Online;
  • Modern Authentication;
  • Exchange 2016 on premise to Exchange Online mailbox migrations;
  • Exchange Online protection - design, setup, configuration, monitoring;
  • M365 Defender products (formerly ATP) - e.g. Safe Attachments, Safe Links;
  • Data Loss Prevention rules setup and monitoring;
  • Office 365 Message Encryption - leveraging with DLP;
  • Retention Policy - applying policy to Exchange Online;
  • Powershell scripting;
  • Migration to Exchange Online Protection from a 3rd party email sanitation gateway;
  • M365 Teams;
  • InTune - Basic Mobility & Security;
  • Multi-factor authentication; and
  • M365 Security Centre.
