078 – Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to perform systems planning and feasibility assessments for COTS applications within the public sector.

Must Haves:
  • 7+ Years as a Business Analyst  
    • Experience working on COTS implementations and robust enterprise scale applications
  • Experience working on Records Management projects
    • Experience with NicheRMS  
  • Proficiency with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Team Foundation Server)
  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science discipline
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience working in policing environment
  • Professional designation in Business Analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA) 
Responsibilities:
  • Author, review and assist in the creation of deliverables such as business requirements, conceptual prototyped designs, process models (swim-lane), functional specifications, detailed designs, and end-user documentation
  • Create project documents and associated planning documents for time and resource estimates
  • Facilitate business process improvement sessions
  • Prepare pre-project documentation such as business cases, request for proposal (RFP), vision/scope, technology investment requests, briefing notes, business analysis plans, etc.
  • Perform project management, business and technical analysis and systems design in delivering complex software solutions
  • Advising business management on the application of information technology solutions, including business process modelling for the purposes of identifying areas that could be refined or streamlined to create efficiency
Project Details:
  • The successful candidate will join the CAD-RMS Integration, Modernization and Maximization Program (CRIMM Program). CRIMM will transform the current state of the client’s operational information management systems to create a more effective and unified operational and intelligent information platform to support all operational, investigative, and intelligence information in the possession of the client.
