Must Haves:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, finance, or management information systems.
- Must have 2+ years of previous experience with development in the Microsoft ecosystem (.Net framework) and specifically in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- 2+ years of experience in creating and supporting business applications, dynamic reports, and workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI and SharePoint
Nice to Have:
• Power Platform Certifications
• Experience working with Public Safety organizations.
Description of Work
The Power Platform Developer’s role is to assess suitability and develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate. This includes utilizing problem-solving skills to understand requirements and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
This individual will apply proven development skills to design, test and knowledge share developed products.
Deliverables
The Developer selected for this role is responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
- Applying Power Apps including an in-depth understanding of customization, configuration, security, integration, and extensibility, as well as boundaries and constraints.
- Following best practices for building and packaging Power Platform components.
- Work directly with stakeholders to collect and identify functional requirements as well as support various projects and solutions.
- Responsible for interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for web applications built in Power Apps.
- Responsible for understanding requirements and transforming the business use cases into building applications for end users.
- Responsible for developing and testing Power Platform components.
- Responsible for installation and configuration of data gateways.
- Development of Azure logic apps and Azure functions to extend the Power Platform capabilities.
- Tests, evaluates and modifies existing computer programs. Evaluates program efficiency and adherence to standards. Writes detailed program specifications.
- Tests programs and modules against specifications. Tests interactions of multiple programs and modules. Develops test plans and test cases.
