Duration: 6 months with conversion to FT

The Engineering and Platforms (E&P) Project Manager establishes and leads assigned projects which have been initiated by the Accountable Executive or Technology Executive. These include launching new products and services, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. The E&P Project Manager holds the primary project relationship with the Accountable/ Technology Executive and/or Senior Project/Program Manager as applicable. The E&P Project Manager ensures that a successful business and technology outcome is the prime measure of project success. The E&P Project Manager has an understanding of the technology platform the project is related to and is able to facilitate communication with other program/project managers and stakeholders efficiently and effectively. The E&P Project Manager directs, manages, and coordinates team members including other sub-project managers, and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants and contractors, as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations .

Must Have Skills:
  • 3 to 6 years of project management experience (including managing at least two projects of significant complexity and value (> $2MM) with moderate to high risk)
  • Banking/FI industry experience
  • Cloud experience (AWS preferred), Data centre server capacity & storage migrations experience, or LAN and WAN experience
  • Experience with backend platforms and highly complex B2B/B2C initiatives 
Nice-to-have:
  • Scrum Master experience
  • Implemented new technology for company SDA, SDWAN, Amazon
  • Experience implementing international projects China, London and or Australia
  • Experience implementing currency upgrades Replace firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, server or workstation OS
  • Background in network terminology and processes ACI, firewall, tunnels, BGP, Proxy, IP Control
  • Unix knowledge
