Role Mandate: The Program Delivery and Process Management team supports the Procurement Center of Excellent from a delivery perspective. This small but collaborative and supportive team is looking to hire an eager junior Project Manager on contract to support Procurement work streams on an acquisition project. There is an established playbook for this group and the selected candidate will be expected to follow this for work to be done.
This role will have exposure across all areas within Procurement, as well as will interact with key stakeholders across other areas within the bank.
Must Have Skills:
• Procurement LOB experience
• Banking industry experience
• Business background (not technology)
Nice to Have Skills:
• Supplier management experience (internal and external suppliers)
• Change management exposure
• PMP
• M&A experience
Role Responsibilities:
• Establish and Executing project plan
• Managing status reports
• Coordinating related work – setting up sessions, keeping on track, highlighting issues, escalations
• Helping manage master list of suppliers and risk assessment processes from a coordination perspective
• Capture risk issues and stay on top of reporting
• Working with stakeholders across Procurement
• Administrative coordination as required
