Position Title: Regulatory Reporting Associate
LOB: Technology and Operations – Equity Research
Duration: 11 months with possible extension
Working Hours: 9-5, some OT may be required depending on volumes/deadlines
Working Location: Remote/Hybrid - DT Toronto (Team comes in monthly for a meeting, but fully remote candidates will be considered)
Role Mandate: The Associate will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reporting of Equity Sales & Research interactions and research consumption. The role is critical in meeting regulatory and client reporting requirements to ensure accurate revenue compensation within the Cash Equities business. The candidate will as also participate in continuous improvement efforts as well as participating in various other projects supporting client’s Equity Sales & Research Teams.
Role Responsibilities Include:
• Liaising with Equity Sales to validate & submit institutional client consumption reports for client's Sales/Research offerings
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with client consumption teams and third-party vendors
• Understanding dynamic client reporting requirements and effectively executing change to client’s proprietary reporting tool
• Managing time sensitive deadlines with a high level of accuracy to ensure maximum compensation for client’s Sales & Research efforts
• Spearheading and managing changes with Technology team and external vendors to ensure ongoing efficiencies and best practices
• Participating in UAT testing of the client's reporting platform
Must-Have Skills:
• 2+ years of experience with Consumption Reporting and it's vendors (ie, CorpAxe, Commcise, Dealogic, Bloomberg, etc.)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including FINRA, FCA (MIFID II) and IIROC rules
• Strong Excel and MS skills
• Experience with Salesforce reporting a nice to have
