Bilingual Intermediate Technical Writer to develop a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) audit plan for a Renewal Project

Our public sector client requires an Enhanced Reliability Cleared Bilingual Intermediate Technical Writer to develop a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) audit plan and provide advice to the Project Manager on the establishment of a governance structure. The resource will discuss the particularities of the SOP writing and management process with SMEs. 

Responsibilities: 

• Discuss the particularities of the SOP writing and management process with SMEs;
• Follow the prioritized work plan for rewriting the SOPs;
• Review and re-write SOP content so they conform to the requirements of the Content Guide;
• Work with lead writer and SMEs to understand intention and examples on the SOPs for developing and documenting all different SOP content types;
• Use consistent grammar, tone and voice in the rewriting process; and
• Actively participate in lessons learned exercises throughout the project life cycle.

Must Have: 

• Experience drafting different tiers of documents, such as policies, procedures and work instructions
• Experience drafting SOPs for internal and external audiences 
• Bilingual  

Nice to Have: 

• Government experience
