Story Behind the Need

Business group: Global Data Engineering

As a member of the Customer Insights, Data & Analytics (CIDA) team, the successful candidate is responsible for the design and implementation of critical program deliverables including (but not limited to) strategy and maturity model, operating model, delivery framework, audit and change management artifacts (e.g., training materials) and the communication of these deliverables to program stakeholders.


Responsibilities::

•With input from program Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), support the development and implementation of key program deliverables, collateral, and processes including (but not limited to):

–Strategy and maturity model;

–Operating model(s) and related processes;

–Delivery strategy and framework; and

–Change management.

•Build and operationalize business processes and supporting documentation (e.g., frameworks, process flows, job aids, procedures).

•Help build/develop training and communications and other collateral related to these deliverables.

•Develop and maintain the program communications portal (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).

•Support program governance reporting, team initiative tracker and maintain/manage program RAID log, where required.

•Support the vision, strategy, mandate and operating model for the program.

•Build strong stakeholder relationships to enable active and collaborative working relationships.

•Maintain a culture of exceptional customer service and cultivate an internal brand as a leading program advisor.

•Foster an environment of continuous personal growth.

Must Have Skills:

1) 8+ years working in strategy, consulting, or business process architecture roles within the financial services industry

2)Robust knowledge of and ability to build and apply data strategy, frameworks, operating model, and related processes (including RACI, process architecture, and related documentation)

3) Strong technical skills working with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA and PowerBI among other reporting and communications tools.

4) Considerable experience managing, collaborating, and communicating with stakeholders in a cross-functional enterprise context

5) Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; superior PowerPoint and Excel skills


Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Knowledge of cloud data platforms, architecture, capabilities, and trends

2) Knowledge and experience of change management including related activities and execution

3) Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations within a financial services organization.

Education:

University Degree in business, engineering, or technology (MBA an asset), or equivalent.
