•            Identity and Access Governance - Knowledge of Identity Access Management approaches, concepts, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing guidance to stakeholders within and outside own area.
•            Strategy & Roadmap - Drive enhancements to security that are both practical and achievable using a balanced approach that considers business needs as well as information security risk. Maintain, create & enhance processes related to the lifecycle of Identity Access Management and supporting documentation. Identify new identity and access management requirements through industry resources, research, and consultation with technology subject matter experts
•            Relationship building - Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts as well as external experts to stay abreast of notable developments and trends across the information security domain.
•            Reporting and Metrics – Identify metrics thresholds and business rules for measuring data quality and ensuring adherence with bank and regulatory standards. Utilize creative thinking to modify or select the most suitable approach that results in providing CIBC with optimum solutions to business issues/challenges. This includes performing specific data or analysis based on business user requests and contribution to automation of reporting requirements, design documents for data quality & data management.
•            Process Improvement - Recommend solutions to enhance processes, eliminate risks, and improve the speed and quality of key services to our partners. Apply appropriate tools to perform problem determination and root cause analysis; identify bottlenecks, redundancies and vulnerabilities of existing processes as they relate to identity and access management.
 

•            Provide support and deliver on requirements for Identity Access Management initiatives as required to support the planning, design and execution of the initiatives and on-going support for access control activities
•            Research the latest methodologies and approaches for effective and efficient identity and access management
•            Champion the improvement of Identity Access Management processes, controls and communications
•            Review and contribute to solution design across multiple IAM initiatives
•            Oversight of PCM activities and facilitate training sessions with various lines of businesses
•            Lead business implementation planning and implementation activities
•            Work with IAM, operations and technology teams to ensure successful completion of project activities and a smooth transition to Business as usual
•            Prepare management and/or executive reporting, dashboard and other presentation materials
•            Chair weekly business and technology meetings
•            Contribute to the overall development of IAM roadmap
•            You have experience with Identity and Access Management domain including tools like SailPoint
•            You possess problem solving skills, root cause analysis and leadership skills. Strong communication, coordination and presentation skills. You have an automation driven mindset, lead by example and are a "big picture" thinker who challenges the status quo and looks to achieve things differently.
●            You demonstrate strong experience with Agile projects and methodologies.
 
Responsibilities:
•            Liaison between business and technology
•            Knowledge of the impacted Business processes
•            Knowledge of the systems/applications in use and proposed
•            Knowledge of the data – where it is stored and used, how it flows through the processes and systems
•            Ability to assess implications of changes and identify
o            What process is impacted
o            What requirements are needed to support the processes/what workstreams impacted
o            Work with workstream leads to enable them to create the user stories
•            Participate in Stakeholder Reviews – what should be reviewed
•            Provide recommendation for approvals, decisions, etc. to IAM leader
•            Provide subject matter insight to the Program Director
•            Vision/roadmap from the Business Case development
 
 
Must Have Requirement:
•            Over 10 years of experience with Identity and Access Management space
•            Previous banking experience
•            Ability to develop solutions and strategies
•            Working experience with SailPoint products (IdentityIQ, Cloud Access Manager (CAM), IdentityAI)
•            Experience working on projects following the Agile Methodology
•            Understanding of Cloud Platforms i.e. Azure, AWS etc.
 
 
Nice to Have:
•            Previous banking experience
•            Working experience with ServiceNow, WorkDay software
•            CISSP certification
•            Previous experience leading Identity Access Management projects
