Int. Bilingual DevOps Specialist to support Enterprise-Wide Process Improvement Initiative for Large Bank Client

12 months intially - possible extension
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid as needed)
Language: English & French

A successful candidate will contribute to the automation and industrialization of the assembly and delivery of code in Production

Responsibilities:

• Technically support the Development teams in their DevOps journey and set up the required mechanics.
• Actively collaborate in the development of user guides for the various tools for enterprise use
• Provide strategic advice on how to improve ways of doing things and propose alternatives to obsolete technologies in the areas of application assembly, integration and continuous deployments

Must Haves:

• Min. experience of 4 years as a DevOps Adminstrator or Integrator
• Proficiency with Helm (Jenkins)
• Experience with Kubernetes / Service Mesh / Envoy / Harness Source code management (SCM: Git-Bitbucket)
• Experience managing Continuous integration servers (Jenkins 2 with pipeline as code concept)
• Experience leading Continuous builds (Maven, Groovy, Ant) and Continuous code inspection, for technical debt/security vulnerability (Veracode)
• Demonstrated experience provisioning and orchestration tools (Docker/k8s)
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English

• Experience leading any of the following:
  • Continuous Deployments;

  • Application monitoring;
• Experience with:
  • Docker; Google Kubernetes Engine, AWS
• Experience with Financial sector
