Int. Business Analyst with Financial Products and Controls (Derivatives, Securities) in the Banking/Capital markets industry - 19349

Our financial client is currently hiring for an Int. Business Analyst with Financial Products and Controls (Derivatives, Securities) in the banking/capital markets industry for a 6 month initial contract (possible extension, remote during pandemic).

Job Responisbilities:

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies 
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities 
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes 
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Must Have Skills:

•     6+ years within financial products and controls (derivatives, securities) and financial control functions (reconciliation and substantiation of balance sheet and closing of books)
•     5+ years with Jira and Confluence  
•     3+ Years of experience with financial systems like general ledgers 
•     5+ years of experience within Banking/Finance/Capital Markets
