Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications and Colleague Engagement, the Manager, Communications is responsible for providing strategic recommendations and developing and managing the execution of communications for a range of programs and initiatives in support of Direct Investing & Wealth Delivery. Working with project teams, business partners and subject matter experts, you will take a leadership role in the development and execution of client and colleague communications that support the Direct Investing & Wealth Delivery strategy. Accountabilities will include:
• Manage the development and execution of communications strategies for projects and initiatives, from needs assessment, through development, to distribution.
• Provide communications guidance to the Direct Investing & Wealth Delivery leadership team and subject matter experts from a variety of functional areas.
• Create content and messaging in the appropriate voice and tone that aligns to the appropriate audiences
• Champion communications best practices and make recommendations that enhance the Direct Investing client and colleague experience.
• Manage ongoing relationships with enterprise partners (e.g. compliance, legal, technology) to ensure coordination of communication activities, as required.
• Support incident and crisis communications; some on-call responsibilities outside regular working hours as needed.

This position is ideally suited for an individual who is a self-starter with solid writing skills, business acumen, effective time management skills and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.

Must haves:
  • 5+ years relevant experience as a Communications Specialist 
  • Demonstrated experience in internal and external (client) communications
  • Wealth Management 
  • Agile

Nice to have’s:
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
