Int. Desktop Support Technician to support workplace set-up (Windows 10, Active Directory) for large insurance client x2

Job Description:
The purpose of role is to provide a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop/Laptop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, Imaging, access management, office mobile phone (iOS/Android) support and upgrading all PC hardware to Windows 10 and ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, Skype, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deployment, imaging, setup, troubleshooting of Windows 10 PC's and laptops
  • Administer Active Directory
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Work within the Service Now ticketing environment
 
Must Have Skills:
  • 3+ years experience as a desktop support technician using MS Windows 10 OS and products
  • 2+ years experience with Service Now or ticketing system
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
  • Experience supporting users in a call center setting is an asset
  • College degree in Computer Science, Network Technologies
