Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role supporting the Chief's team that completes tasks for Business Banking's Basel Reporting processes as well as certain Pillar 3 disclosures. In addition, supporting certain testing for the Basel III Reforms Project.
This role will include the following tasks:
o Gain a thorough understanding of the consolidated Bank and business segments Basel III reporting processes including BCAR, New Credit Risk (NCR) and Pillar 3;
o Work closely with the Chief’s Basel Reporting team and other departments (i.e. technology, other areas of Finance) and business segments to be able to understand the impact on regulatory reporting and operational requirements related to Basel III related projects/initiatives;
o Support the team within Chief's Basel Reporting for certain monthly tasks including financial reconciliation, analysis, investigation and recommendations related to the Business Banking BCAR process;
o Be the subject matter expert for OSFI New Credit Risk (NCR) reporting;
o Complete various quarterly Pillar 3 public disclosures;
Preferable candidate should be a CPA or enrolled in a professional accounting program (CPA) coupled with 5 to 8 years of financial accounting and reporting experience. Knowledge of the Basel capital frameworks, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)

- MS Office
- Experience within a large financial org
- Advanced Excel, V loop ups, pivot tables, formulas
