Int. Financial Manager to provide economic analysis and build financial models for large banking client x2 - 51668

Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid)
Duration: 3 months
 
Job Responsibilities:
• Develops detailed financial and economic analysis to assist the designated business portfolio with decision support.
• Works closely with business leaders and Finance partners to provide financial advice and service that supports the financial management activities of the Group/portfolio.
• Supports the monitoring and management of financial performance against plans, forecasts, initiatives and objectives. Generates information and insights that support key business decisions to drive value (e.g., revenue growth, cost management, resource allocation, balance sheet optimization, etc.)
• Supports/Leads financial planning, forecasting and performance reviews that utilize plan, forecast and actual financial information to develop annual plans and targets.
• Performs variance analyses
• Examples of models they would need to build:
• Economic View linked to billings
• Management view of the P&L
• Payroll model
 
Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
• Understanding what a month end processes look like, creating a budgets for revenue and expenses
• Banking/FI experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Professional accounting designation (CPA not required)
• Model building certification
