Location: Downtown Toronto (2-3 Days in Office) Some weekend Work
Length: Contract will end Jan 31st 2024
Must-have
- Wire payments, SWIFT testing experience
- Experience of critical Payments Canada system such as Lynx
- Must be available to work occasionally on the weekend. Most testing is prescheduled to be completed on the weekend.

Summary of Position
• Technical Requirements for testing – Incorporate local/global business requirements into Payment System. Perform payments system impact analysis and engage IT/business teams for downstream analysis. Document, provide, develop and fully lead UAT and QA teams to test solutions provided to stakeholders and project teams. Defect investigation, prioritization, and management. Coordinate and provide support pre and post implementation.
• Risk – Highlight and document any risks for Payment Operations that need to be addressed. Participate and represent Payment Operations in any risk reviews or audits.
• Will need to be able to have flexible working hours to attend both local and global calls with can occur at different times during the day due to the time zone differences for all HSBC markets, will need to be also available on selected weekends to accommodate the project for testing and/or implementation.
The position is responsible to deliver the following tasks within Payment Operations.
1. Payments Canada testing -Coordination, testing and delivery of all Payments Canada Testing
2. Payment Operations Testing -Work with the BA leads to deliver on various testing.
3. Payments Canada Attestation – Work with the internal teams and internal audit to deliver as per Payments Canada rule obligations.
4. Support day to day BAU operations as required within Payment Operations
5. System support and representation for crisis calls for Payment Operations processes.
