Int. Support Engineer to Support End of Day batch processing, troubleshoot issues and contribute to batch performance optimization for our global banking client - 48267
Location: Downtown Toronto (2-3 Days in Office)
Length: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Must Have Skills:
• Hands on Incident management and Production Support experience.
• Hands on experience with a batch scheduling tool such as Control-M or AutoSys.
• Experience with Linux and any relational database (such as Oracle, mainly SQL).
• Experience with shell and batch scripting (windows batch scripting; Perl)
• Experience configuring and maintaining any Monitoring Tool such as Geneos, ELK, Grafana etc.
• Hands on experience with Jenkins. (Should be able to run the pipelines, understand parameters, understand output)
Nice To Have:
• Python experience.
• Knowledge of Investment banking products (Swaps, Bonds)
• Ansible experience.
• Experience with any cloud technology. (troubleshooting apps that run on cloud)
Key Objectives for Support Engineer:
• Support Engineer will be responsible to provide support for Risk and PnL applications and contribute to automation and tooling initiatives.
• Support End of Day batch processing, troubleshoot issues and contribute to batch performance optimization.
• Provide intraday support to trading desk’s queries. Communicate with IT and Business in Europe and North America.
