Our valued client is seeking an Int. SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst to support an SAP upgrade and migration to SAP Rise within the automotive industry
 
Contract: Until end of Sep 2023
Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Hybrid onsite 1-3 days)
Hours: 37.5 per week
 
Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert for SAP Finance and BPC including business processes refinement, incident and problem management, enhancement definition and implementation in SAP S4/HANA
• Understand business applications and how they are used by our business users including: processes, enhancement opportunities, interfaces to/from other systems, overall architecture and deployment framework to improve business user experience and leverage SAP investment.
• Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle including requirement gathering, analysis, solution design, configuration, development, testing and support
• Write business requirement documents and document functional specifications. Adjust documentation style / template depending on delivery approach e.g. Waterfall (Requirements Documents), Agile (User Stories)
• Gather functional and technical requirements for enhancements, incident and problem resolution
• Provide application expertise and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and business functions
• Monitor project and enhancement demands, request resources for initiatives and manage business request priorities
• Ensure solutions are developed, integrated and properly maintained within S4/HANA landscape, and in accordance with company standards and established architecture guidelines
• Interface with vendors to understand roadmap for specific products, support enhancements and new project, coordinate upgrades and maintenance releases
• Coordinate acceptance tests to ensure quality of deliverables, adherence to business expectation and timely delivery of business solutions
• Provide consulting services for the maintenance, enhancement and troubleshooting of SAP and related applications
• Champion the proper use of tools, processes and standards by conducting education, application review and design sessions to reinforce skills and knowledge baseline
• Bring SAP and industrial best practices to business environment

Must haves:

• 4+ years of experience in a SAP FA/BA/BSA working with SAP Finance modules
• Experience with GL (General Ledger)/AR (Account Receivable)/AP (Account Payable)/COPA (Cost Centre and Profit Centre Accounting)/Fix Assets
• Experience with integrations – MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), IM (Inventory Management) and non-SAP interfaces (e.g. Banks interfaces)
