Location: Scarborough - Hybrid (3x a month)

Job Summary:

• Our automotive client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect reporting to the Manager, Information Services, Enterprise Business Solutions – Connected Technology. 
• In partnership with other Architects, define and maintain the client's solution architecture blueprint focused on solution development.
• Lead initiatives aligned with the client's Connected Technologies platforms leveraging existing and emerging technologies. 
• Lead the development and design initiatives to introduce new tools and new technology to the application landscape (Connected Technologies platforms are leveraging the client's Telematics data driven solutions that are installed in our vehicles)

Must haves:

• 5+ years experience in application design and architecture within a Java based environment, including solid hands-on experience in conceptualization, modelling and design.
• 3+ years of technical expertise in system integration, middleware, API, ITIL, SaaS, COTS
• Experience with some of the following:
• Java, JavaScript, Azure DevOps
• Mulesoft, Salesforce, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT)
• IBM Liberty (WAS), API Connect (APIC), IBM Integration Bus (IIB)

Nice to have:

• Azure DevOps, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT)
• Telematics
